Cellulite is more prevalent on the legs (thighs and hips) than it is in other parts of the body. It can, however affect other areas such as the stomach. This type of cellulite is very hard to get rid of for obvious reasons.
We all know how hard it is to get rid of stomach fat and tighten stomach muscles/skin. With some guidance however, it is possible to get rid of cellulite on the stomach. I was lucky to come across Joey Atlas’ Naked Beauty Symulast Method. Though his program targets legs and butt, one of the bonuses he offers is called Flat Sexy Stomach – Home Exercise Video. It worked beautifully for me, so I got rid of cellulite on the legs and got a flat stomach too.
I recommend to everybody Symulast Method first. I reviewed it here. And you can read Joey’s article and watch his video here.

Steps to Getting Rid of Cellulite on the Stomach
1. Boost lymphatic system health
Ensuring you have a healthy lymphatic system is one of the best ways of getting rid of cellulite on your stomach since a sluggish lymphatic system makes it easy for the body to store toxins in fat which usually encourages cellulite formation. To boost lymphatic system health, consume low-glycemic index carbohydrates, healthy fats and lean fats. You should also maintain a good posture to boost the lymph channel flow. Avoiding tight clothing and sitting for long hours will also boost lymphatic system health.
2. Boost liver health
A healthy liver is also important for getting rid of unwanted fat and cellulite on the stomach and other parts of the body. A sluggish liver has a hard time metabolizing fat. To boost the health of your liver, you have to detoxify your liver by consuming foods and beverages that support the liver i.e. cranberries/cranberry juice, eggs, lemon juice, whey protein and cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli. You should also eliminate foods that stress the liver/lower metabolism, i.e. sodas, trans-fats, processed foods, artificial sweeteners, caffeine and most carbohydrates in general.
3. Consume healthy fats
Contrary to popular belief, not all fats are bad for your health. Healthy fats are great for your health. In fact, healthy fats play a crucial role in weight loss. You should replace saturated fats and trans-fats with healthy fat sources such as omega 3, 6 and 9 fats found in fish oil, flaxseed oil, chia seeds, olive oil, macadamia nut oil, etc. Healthy fats boost liver health. They also boost natural fat burning mechanisms such as metabolism. Healthy fats also contain oleic acid, which prevents yeast overgrowth which causes belly bloating which in turn worsens the appearance of cellulite.
4. Perform stomach exercises
You’ll also need to do stomach exercises targeting belly fat and muscles. Since cellulite forms on the stomach as a result of excess belly fat and loss of skin elasticity in the stomach area, stomach exercises come in handy. Stomach exercises will also help keep your lymph channels flowing. There are very many effective stomach exercises for getting rid of cellulite. These exercises range from sit-ups to cycling/bicycle maneuvers. The best exercises as I mentioned above come together with the Naked Beauty Symulast Method.
5. Control your stress levels
Stress is known to increase cortisol levels. Considering cortisol encourages fat storage, it’s in your best interests to control your stress levels to get rid of cellulite on your stomach. There are many effective ways of controlling your stress levels. You can try out my favorite ways, i.e. doing yoga and meditating among many other ways, such as aromatherapy and deep breathing techniques.
Summary
It is possible to get rid of cellulite on your stomach completely by following the above steps. It worked for me so it should work for you too. Although there are other ways of getting rid of cellulite on the stomach, i.e. liposuction, the above guide is adequate enough to get you on the right path.

Great post on how to get rid of cellulite on the stomach. I always thought that just plain ole good eating habits and stomach exercises was the key. I never knew that lymphatic system and liver health would have had anything to do with it. This site has a lot of good information and the layout is wonderful.

Hi there!
Was looking for good info on cellulite. Glad I stumbled on yours!
I have to admit that eating healthy is a challenge but I think my biggest problem is stress!
I once tried juicing for few days I have to admit it helped. Now I know why, I guess I cleansed my liver as you said.
Any creams you might recommend to help cellulite?
Sandy says
Hi Terry,
I wrote about the creams for cellulite here. But the best for cellulite are the Naked Beauty Exercises.

I think you have nailed this list in the exact order it needs to be done. You need to start by making your body healthy, then eating healthy, begin working on your core, and then getting your mind healthy. Too many people start with doing core exercises and stop because they get frustrated its not working! the problem is you build the muscles up under the fat and it pushes the fat outward n makes people feel even fatter! really need to work on steps 1&2. Those are the hardest parts
