It’s possible to get rid of cellulite fast and naturally at home, without spending money on surgery or expensive laser treatments. Getting rid of cellulite isn’t as hard and expensive as the beauty clinics would want you to think.
Actually, it’s fast, easy and simple process that requires a little money and some discipline. But you must know how to do it.
How to Get Rid of Cellulite Fast
You are here because you want to get rid of cellulite fast, without spending a lot of money. So, I won’t be wasting your time and I’ll show you easy, certain and inexpensive ways of getting rid of cellulite forever at home, that worked for me.
There are two best ways to get rid of cellulite. The cheaper one is to exercise. But you must have some discipline to get rid of cellulite in this way. I did it this way, so below I will describe it as the first method.
How to Get Rid of Cellulite with Exercise – The Naked Beauty/Symulast Method
You must exercise to get rid of cellulite fast. This is the cheapest and the most certain way of getting rid of cellulite.
You must do exercises that target the specific muscle fibers responsible for the cellulite. Such exercises were invented by Joey Atlas, the women-fitness specialist, and are known under names like The Naked Beauty, Symulast or Cellulite Gone.
Click Here to read my review of the Naked Beauty/Symulast Program
You’ll learn from the review exactly, how the anti-cellulite exercises work, and why they work. Joey Atlas exercises do work, but you must do them diligently as described. If you have no discipline or time to exercise, then check out the second method below.
Tip: The fastest way of getting rid of cellulite is to combine Joey Atlas exercises with the anti-cellulite pills described below. It’s not necessary, but by combining more than one method of fighting with cellulite, you can get rid of it faster
The second way is with the anti-cellulite pills that really work.
How to Get Rid of Cellulite with Cellulite Pills
If you are very busy and you know that you have no discipline or time to exercise for at least a few weeks, your best option is Cellinea cellulite pills.
Cellinea pills are the anti-cellulite supplement composed of natural ingredients that have been clinically tested and proven to work. You can either take the pills on their own, or for even faster results, you can combine taking the pills with other cellulite killers.
Learn More About the Cellinea Pills Here
Those 2 methods described above, are the certain way of not only getting rid of cellulite, but also of staying free from cellulite for good.
That’s it. You will get rid of cellulite fast if you apply the 2 methods described above. There are obviously many other methods that can help decrease cellulite and/or speed up its reduction, but from my personal experience, none of them is as fast, easy and inexpensive to apply at home, as the 2 methods described above.
Let’s take a look at another important factor that helps getting rid of cellulite – anti-cellulite diet.
How to Get Rid of Cellulite with Diet
Together with the exercises and pills you might go on the anti-cellulite diet, to achieve even faster results. I wrote about the anti-cellulite diet here, so I won’t be writing much about it in this article. You can find all the anti-cellulite foods there.
It’s harder and it takes longer to get rid of cellulite with diet, so it’s recommended to combine the diet with one, or both of the methods described above.
If you are the person who likes to know everything about the problem you’re facing, then below is all the important info about cellulite that you might need.
There are also many other anti-cellulite methods, but from my experience you can get rid of cellulite with them completely and for good. They can only reduce cellulite for some time. Some of them, like cellulite creams can help get rid of cellulite faster and could be used together with the methods described above to achieve even faster results.
Let’s take a look at those methods, which range from surgical procedures and skin therapies to mechanical treatments, cellulite creams, dietary and lifestyle changes.
Can You Get Rid of Cellulite with Liposuction?
Liposuction is a surgical procedure that removes fat deposits in the body. Liposuction is ideal for severe cases of cellulite i.e. Grade 3 cellulite since the procedure is designed to remove deep fat beneath the skin.
It is however important to note that liposuction may not offer a permanent solution. This is according to the AAD (American Academy of Dermatology) which warns that the procedure may worsen cellulite appearance in the long-term if a patient allows fat deposits to accumulate again.
You can reduce cellulite using specially formulated creams known as cellulite creams. These creams are usually packed with a group of chemicals known as methylxanthines that include; caffeine, theophyilline and aminophylline. These chemicals share one thing in common i.e. they are capable of breaking down fat stores.
It is however worth noting that cellulite creams don’t offer a significant reduction in fat stores. They, however improve appearance. Ideally, cellulite creams should be used alongside other treatments for you to get the best results. Do the cellulite creams really work? I wrote about it here.
Dietary Supplements for Cellulite
Dietary supplements, especially those known to boost the body’s metabolism, improve circulation, break down fats and protect the body against cell damage can also help get rid of cellulite.
Dietary supplements containing ingredients such as; sweet clover, ginkgo biloba, grape-seed bioflavinoids, fish oil, bladder wrack extract and soy lecithin have a positive effect on circulation, metabolism, detoxification and breakdown of fats which all play a crucial role in reducing body fat and boosting a person’s overall health.
When the body’s metabolism is at optimal levels, it’s hard for the body to store fat, which in turn reduces the cellulite formation and appearance. The same applies to circulation. When the body’s circulatory system is working at optimal levels, all body cells work optimally reducing cellulite formation risks.
It is however important to note that very few supplements are effective even if they contain any or a combination of the above ingredients known to get rid of cellulite. It is therefore advisable to do a thorough investigation before buying any supplement for the sole purpose of getting rid of cellulite.
It’s also important to stick to supplements that are made using 100% natural ingredients since such supplements are known to be safe, i.e. they don’t cause any harmful side effects. You should also consult your doctor before taking any supplements, especially if you have any pre-existing medical condition and/or you are taking any medication at the moment.

You can also reduce cellulite through massage treatments. There are many massage treatments available today for treating cellulite. The treatments involve the use of machines which massage the affected areas in an effort to get rid of cellulite bumps and improve the appearance of cellulite. The machines suction pulls and squeezes the affected areas in an effort to evenly re-distribute fat.
One of the most popular cellulite massage treatments is Endermologie. This treatment is FDA approved for temporary reduction (in the appearance) of cellulite. It takes 10-12 Endermologie treatments each lasting for 30 to 45 minutes each to get noticeable results. There are however exceptions depending on factors such as cellulite severity and treatment area.
The FDA has approved a number of light therapy devices for cellulite treatment. The devices combine massage or suction with light therapy to temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite.
One such treatment is TriActive. This treatment combines low level laser treatment with skin suction/manipulation. Another treatment, VelaSmooth, combines massage and laser therapy. Both treatments demand multiple treatment sessions as well as maintenance treatments for the best results to be realized.
This cellulite treatment involves the injection of Collagenase, a naturally occurring enzyme known to break down collagen (a connective tissue component). Given the fact that connective tissue problems are largely responsible for cellulite formation, Collagenase injections might be effective cellulite treatments.
Numerous studies have been done to ascertain the effectiveness of this treatment in improving cellulite appearance. It is however important to note that this treatment is still regarded as experimental and not yet available routinely.
Click here to read about collagen and cellulite.
There are also special wraps available in the market today for reducing/getting rid of cellulite. Although popular and deemed effective short-term treatments by many, these wraps haven’t been reported or proven to work in controlled studies. Cellulite wraps work by decreasing tension under the skin, which in turn improves the appearance of the skin.
Conclusion About the Anti-Cellulite Treatments
Dieting and exercise are by far the most effective natural remedies for getting rid of cellulite. Becoming fit and healthy is one of the best ways to prevent or get rid of cellulite once and for all. Maintaining a healthy diet is all about ensuring you eat adequate amounts of all essential nutrients.
It’s important to note that being overweight increases your risks for developing cellulite. You must therefore avoid overeating and exercise regularly. Maintaining a proper diet will ensure your body’s metabolism is working optimally which prevents fat storage.
Exercising regularly also helps to boost your metabolism, tighten the skin, get rid of fat stores, boost circulation among many other things which are known to prevent cellulite formation. I wrote about foods that fight the cellulite here and you can also read about fighting the cellulite with Fat Free Yoga here. The best way to kill the cellulite is presented here.
To get rid of cellulite you don’t need to know about cellulite causes and definitions, but it’s helpful to know the details about the problem we’re facing, so below there’s some additional info about cellulite that you might find useful.
What Is Cellulite?
Cellulite is not a life threatening skin problem/condition. As a result, it’s not mandatory to seek treatment. However, many people dislike the appearance of cellulite. In such cases, it’s important to seek ways of reducing the appearance of cellulite.
Cellulite which is also known as dermopanniculosis deformans, adiposis edematosa, gynoid lipodystrophy, status protrusus cutis and orange peel syndrome refers to the abnormal protrusions of subcutaneous fat within the fibrous connective tissue of the skin.
The abnormal protrusions are manifested as skin dimpling and/or skin bumps. The lumpiness is caused by fat deposits pushing and distorting connective tissues under the skin resulting in characteristic changes in the appearance of the skin. The underlying causes of cellulite are however many and complex as will be discussed below.
There is also another view on cellulite presented by women’s trainer Joey Atlas who from his experience of working with many women is convinced that the cellulite is caused by atrophied muscle fibers under the skin, and to get rid of cellulite those muscles must be made strong again. You can read the article written by Joey Atlas here.
Cellulite affects many areas of the body the most notable being the buttocks, lower limbs and abdomen. Although cellulite affects both men and women, it is more prevalent in women. Numerous research studies indicate that cellulite is 95-98% prevalent in women.
Cellulite is therefore a physiological as opposed to pathological problem. In regards to age demographics, cellulite occurs in 80-90% of all post-adolescent females.
Women tend to be more affected by cellulite because of their differences in the distribution of fat, muscle and connective tissue in their skin compared to men.
Although cellulite is rare in men, it is common in men with androgen deficient states such as hypogonadism, Klinefelter’s syndrome and postcastration states as well as men undergoing estrogen therapy for treating prostate cancer.
Although many studies have linked cellulite to hormonal causes, cellulite’s formal existence as a real disorder has been challenged extensively. The prevailing medical opinion suggests that it is just a ”normal condition” for many women.
Types of Cellulite
Before discussing the causes of cellulite, how to get rid of cellulite, etc., it’s important to discuss the main types of cellulite. Cellulite is classified into 3 main grades namely;
Grade 1 cellulite: This type of cellulite has no clinical symptoms. Grade 1 cellulite is the mildest type of cellulite. In fact, a microscopic examination has to be done on the skin out to identify grade 1 cellulite.
Grade 2 cellulite: This type of cellulite can be detected by the naked eye. Grade 2 cellulite is manifested as skin pastiness. Other symptoms include; skin with a lower temperature, decreased skin elasticity as well as anatomical changes noticeable via a microscopic examination.
Grade 3 cellulite: This is the most severe form of cellulite. This type of cellulite has severe symptoms such as visible skin roughness alongside all the symptoms of grade 2 cellulite.
Causes of Cellulite
Cellulite has many causes which include but aren’t limited to; changes in physiology, metabolism, diet and exercise, sex specific dimorphic skin architecture, alterations in the connective tissue structure, genetic factors, hormonal factors as well as alterations in the microcirculatory system, extracellular matrix and subtle inflammatory changes. Below is an in-depth discussion into the most common causes.
1. Hormonal factors
Hormones play a major role in cellulite formation. Estrogen is one such hormone. Estrogen is believed to play a crucial role in initiating and aggravating cellulite. It is however important to note that there is no reliable clinical evidence to substantiate this claim.
Other hormones that have been linked to cellulite initiation and aggravation include; insulin, adrenaline, noradrenaline, prolactin, catecholamines and thyroid hormones. There are many studies suggesting that these hormones play a crucial part in the production of cellulite.
2. Genetic factors
Studies also suggest that there is a genetic element that makes certain individuals susceptible to cellulite. Cellulite has been traced to particular polymorphisms in the ACE (angiotensin converting enzyme) and HIF1a (hypoxia-inducible factor) genes. Numerous research studies have discovered that the above genes are needed for cellulite to develop.
Genes predispose a person to a certain characteristic/s associated with cellulite i.e. race, slow metabolism, gender, fat distribution under the skin as well as other characteristics such as circulatory insufficiency. A person’s biotype and predisposition to circulatory and lymphatic insufficiency have also been linked to cellulite development.
3. Lifestyle factors
The lifestyle you lead can also dictate whether you will get cellulite or not.
Stress: Research studies indicate that leading a stressful life increases cellulite risks. This can be attributed to the fact that stress increases the levels of catecholamines, which have been linked to cellulite development.
Diet: Poor diets have also been linked to cellulite development. People who consume too much fat, salt, carbohydrates, salt and very small quantities of fiber tend to suffer more from cellulite.
Clothing: The type of clothing you choose to wear can also dictate your cellulite risks. Tight clothing i.e. tight underwear increase cellulite risks because they limit proper blood flow/circulation.
Poor lifestyle habits: Cellulite is more common among smokers, people who don’t do exercise often as well as people who stand or sit in one position for a prolonged time period. Cellulite is also common in people who don’t drink enough water on a daily basis, i.e. at least 2 liters of water per day.
As you can see above, there could be many causes of cellulite. I personally agree with Joey Atlas, that the main cause are atrophied muscle nerves. I also think the lifestyle factors are are very important. If you believe that the causes are genetic, you might think that there’s nothing you can do about the cellulite, which isn’t true.
Factors Influencing Cellulite Visibility
Cellulite is a problem mainly because it is visible. There are many factors affecting cellulite visibility. These factors include, but aren’t limited to; skin thickness, skin color, gender, heredity, amount of body fat, distribution of body fat and age. Individuals with thin skin tend to have cellulite that is more visible for obvious reasons.
The same applies to individuals with a high amount of body fat. Individuals with a lot of body fat in cellulite prevalent areas, such as the buttocks and thighs, tend to be affected more by cellulite. Skin color also dictates cellulite visibility, i.e. individuals with darker skin tend to have cellulite that is less noticeable.
Since it’s usually challenging to get rid of cellulite completely, prevention is always the best. You can prevent cellulite by getting rid of the triggers such as; stress and excess body fat. Maintaining a healthy diet, exercising regularly, maintaining healthy body weight, wearing loose fitting undergarments are some of the most effective ways of preventing cellulite formation.
Supplementing is also an effective prevention measure given the fact that we can’t get adequate amounts of all the essential nutrients we need in the food we eat. Given the fact that our bodies need to be working optimally to reduce chances of cellulite formation, taking supplements is highly recommended.
The above information summarizes everything you need to know about cellulite from the definition, types and main causes of cellulite. The most important, now you know how to get rid of cellulite or how to prevent cellulite.
After going through the above information, you shouldn’t have a problem understanding everything there is to know about cellulite, and getting rid of cellulite
Although cellulite is very common, it is not life threatening, but it looks ugly, so you should take the preventive measures discussed above if you don’t have cellulite or apply the above described treatments that worked for me.
Although each of the treatments/methods discussed above have pros and cons, maintaining a healthy lifestyle (i.e. exercising regularly, eating healthy diets, avoiding stress, etc.) is the most important to prevent, reduce or even to get rid of cellulite for good.
To summarize, there are a lot of things you can do, to get rid of cellulite fast, but the 2 most important things you should do are:
- Exercise – You really need to exercise to kill the cellulite for good. You need to do special exercises that target the specific muscles that are responsible for cellulite. You can learn more about such exercises at The Best Exercises to Get Rid of Cellulite Fast. Doing some cardio will also help.
- Diet and Supplements – Diet and supplements will help get rid of cellulite faster and to stay cellulite free. I wrote about the best cellulite fighting foods here and about one of the best cellulite supplements here.
As a woman in her 30’s, I’ve become more aware of physiological changes like wrinkles and cellulite. Like you said, although they are not seen as medical condition, they can affect a woman’s self confidence a lot from inside out.
It’s interesting to read the kind of treatment involved in removing cellulite, but I much prefer the diets and exercise regime because they are the least invasive.
I am working hard on my Yoga so hopefully that will keep the cellulite away for a long time.
Yoga will definitely work. I wrote about yoga for cellulite and my favorite yoga workout here.
Wow, definitely a lot of information I really had no clue about… I always had a general idea about cellulite but I guess I never really took the time to go too in-depth with this.
There’s a lot fo valuable information here, it’s really good to know and you did a great job at explaining everything 🙂
Thank you for the nice comment Kyle 🙂
It is very interesting the cellulite can be called so many different things, ive only ever heard it referred to as cellulite. I have never heard of the orange peel syndrome so now I wont be able to look at the cellulite on my legs without thinking about an orange lol.
I would imagine that so many people believe estrogen plays a role because of the prevalence you mentioned of it showing up in mostly women. Now I am going to have to go check my boyfriends legs and see if he has any because it never occurred to me that I had never seen it on men before.
I will say I dont agree about the cellulite creams only because I have noticed that if I massage my legs with any type of lotion the appearance of cellulite does tend to decrease but I assume this is more a result of the massaging than the lotion itself of course. The best thing I ever did to get rid of cellulite was walk a few miles a day – its amazing how quickly building up those upper leg muscles can make your skin appear so smooth…unfortunately I have sense stopped that and it has come right back.
I might need to look into some of these other methods to actually get it under control. Lots of awesome information in the post.

Thank you so much for this information! 😀
I’ve thought about the negative effects of cellulite and wanted to know about the methods an individual can use to overcome this.
Your post is very informative in this aspect!
Also, what according to you is the best way to get rid of cellulite?
You’re welcome. The best way to remove cellulite is diet + exercise, especially the special anti cellulite workout invented by Joey Atlas.
Lots of key information is given here to get rid of cellulite. You are really great at helping others. You really know what you are talking about and it’s great to know that there is someone like you out here in the world set to help others look their best! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for your encouraging comment Steve!

Excellent article covering all the bases about getting rid of cellulite.
Some of the topics you discuss I am familiar with as far as diet and exercise, but I never thought about how stress could cause issues.
I have heard about some of the treatments which people will do for a fast fix, but I believe that is just a bandage fix if you do not watch your diet and exercise. Also, let’s not forget about stress which you have now brought to our attention.
Do you feel it you do not change your lifestyle if you have cellulite that medical treatments do not end the cycle?
Thank you Travis.
I agree with you, that you must change your lifestyle and that medical treatments can’t solve the cellulite problems. Actually, from the medical point of view the cellulite isn’t a disease; it isn’t really a problem. But for women who have the cellulite, it is a problem. So, the exercise, diet and healthy lifestyle are the keys not only to getting rid of cellulite, but also to staying fit and healthy.
This is an informative article about something most of us women have but don’t like to talk or think about. That is until summer comes along and we are forced to shed our layers and reveal what’s underneath! I wasn’t aware that there are different types of cellulite or that wearing tight underwear increases cellulite risk. Interesting!
You’re right, we like to wait till the last moment, but it takes some time to get rid of cellulite, so better to start working on it now.
Thanks for the very informative, detailed article on cellulite. I had absolutely no clue there were different types of cellulite. After I had children I noticed that my buttocks/thigh section thickened and I know cellulite is sitting there. So, for me, it’s healthy eating and increased exercise. Thanks for sharing that as an option for clearing out cellulite.
You’re welcome Kym. Healthy eating and exercise will certainly work.
Wow! I wish more people will see this page because its more helpful than I thought it will be.
You know I heard about cellulite but I did not get the chance to look deep and deep like this that why I wish others will see this.
In advance this site is very nice and I will keep looking forward into it so that i can learn more so keep doing an amazing job as you do right now.

This is a very interesting article. No matter what, it seems ALL women have cellulite to some degree. And you are right, the best solution is diet and exercise. I think it is futile to spend a lot of money on creams, massages, light therepy, etc when diet and exercise are virtually free and easy! I have personally tried everything and I don’t have a lot. But what I have found is nothing works except diet and exercise. Thanks for sharing! Very interesting post!
Diana Worley says
Cellulite is ugly, there is no doubt and I’m really wondering if someday researchers will find that there is an actualy medical connection to chronic illness,, like a precursor or symptom. A friend of mine does cellulite wraps and swears by them. Me… I prefer to eat right and exercise to keep over all healthy. Great, informative article!
Whatever works and can free someone from cellulite is good, if it isn’t bad for overall health. So, if the wraps work, that’s great! I haven’t used them much.
Thank you for that information. I suffer from that cellulite problem too. I have to say though I wouldn’t spend money on a bunch of products as far as anything topical to get rid of it. My question is would deep water arobics class help as far as exercise? I’m unable to walk right now so that’s what I do and I lift weights sitting down. Is that good enough?
Yes, deep water aerobic and lifting weights, plus cellulite killing diet is good.
Hello! Your website is very neatly put together and easy to navigate through. I have noticed on myself, after aging and 2 children, that I have much more cellulite than I desire. Your page is a very useful resource in finding ways to get rid of this unwanted ‘stuff’. It is nice to see all of the different options. Thanks for all the great information.

Thanks for your in-depth view regarding cellulite, I have learnt so much. I suppose the main thing here is eating healthy and excising regularly.
I understand that many do go down the liposuction route, removing fat deposits – but won’t this leave scars?
It’s just something my wife wondered.
Great article, thanks,
Yes, liposuction will leaves some scars, because incisions are necessary to do liposuction. Liposuction could be a good choice in case of obesity, when the obesity can be dangerous to life and there’s no other choice, but in case of cellulite, it isn’t necessary and according to the AAD (American Academy of Dermatology) the effects of liposuction on cellulite are not permanent and actually the appearance of the cellulite can be even worse after some time when the fat deposits accumulate again. And if someone has no discipline to exercise and eat healthy, then sooner or later the fat deposits will be back, and then the cellulite will look even worse. I wrote about liposuction here.
My wife started to use your site for tips and giddiness and she saying that she is starting to see a difference in her look.
I seeing it to, and hope she will get rid of this stubborn cellulite and fast 🙂
I think she also left you a comment 1 week ago.
Hopefully she will get the results she wants and I will get a pleased wife 🙂
That’s great! Good luck to your wife and you! 🙂
Taking A Leap Of Faith says
Getting rid of cellulite can’t be done as quickly as one might think, it takes work, and doing multiple things at once if you really want to get the job done and done right. First, there is an anti-cellulite diet, then there are exercises you must do, and of course there are products to help with the process.
Cellulite is also known as orange peel syndrome, or a dimpling of the skin. The bumpy areas are fat deposits that are misshaping connective tissues under the skin, changing your skin’s appearance.
On women the key areas cellulite is found are the buttocks, thighs, and abdomen. It is more prevalent in women because of their differences if fat to muscle ration and where their fat is stored compared to men.
There are 3 grades of cellulite, what can be detected by a microscope, what can be detected by a naked eye, but it is more a decrease in skin elasticity, and the third is also seen by the naked eye but the skin is very rough looking. Cellulite can be caused by metabolism, gaining and losing a lot of weight, pregnancy, genetic factors, lifestyle factors (stress, diet, poor lifestyle habits), inflammatory changes, and even alterations in the microcirculatory system.
There are many ways of getting rid of cellulite. You can have liposuction, which is a surgical procedure where you are giving anesthesia and they go in and suck out some of your fat. There are also cellulite creams that help break down fat deposits and help improve appearance. However, to get the best results these must be used with other methods for them to have the desired effect. Dietary supplements improve circulation, break down fats, and protect the body against cell damage. When a body is at near perfect metabolic levels it’s hard for it to store fat. There are also massage treatments for help in getting rid of cellulite deposits. The most popular is called Endermologie, and it takes 10-12 treatments at 30-45 minutes each to be effective. There are cellulite wraps, however these are usually just short-term measures. There is also exercise and diet. Maintaining a health diet ensures you get the nutrients your body needs, decreases your weight, and along with exercise increases your metabolism which prevents fat storage.
Stress is another thing that can be an underlying factor, so whatever you can do to destress is a good idea, whether that means taking a walk, dancing around your living room, coloring, meditating, or whatever you do to destress. Personally I get out my markers and a coloring books sometimes, because it helps me just focus on that task when my minds is racing and I can’t quiet it down. But when I’ve got a lot of energy and I’m feeling happy I just turn on my iPod plug in my earphones and sing and dance all over my living room. Sure, i look pretty goofy, and my dance moves are from back in the 80’s and 90’s when I actually went to clubs to dance, but no one’s watching me, so who cares what I look like.
So if i go on a diet, exercise probably cardio with some yoga thrown in, meditate, do a little distressing, and find a cream that i feel works for me who knows, I may just end up looking like I did years ago pre-cellulite.
Great info! Thanks.
Again, great article, I always enjoy reading them!
I think that women were born with more fat than man:( It’s too bad and not fair:)
It’s been a long time now since I was 20 years old that I am trying to get rid of my cellulite with no success.
I have tried many creams and other stuff, but it didn’t work on me.
I am persuaded that by eating healthy food and doing sport will reduce the amount of cellulite.
However, thank you very much for the great information!
You’re welcome. You’re right, it’s not fair 🙂
If nothing works to get rid of cellulite, you could try Joey Atlas’s special exercises. There’s nothing better for getting rid of cellulite, I think.
I will have to bookmark your site for my wife, it contains everything from prevention to creams that mask cellulite, to recommended products to use. I never realized you could get rid of cellulite with massages, and that it was approved by the FDA. I am glad there are holistic ways to get rid of cellulite, something we will have to look into.
For as long as I can remember I’ve had cellulite on the back top of my thighs. My diet is mostly clean and healthy so I aways thought it was a genetic predisposition. I practice yoga regularly and exercise (walk mostly) it doesn’t seem to budge. So I’ll check out all your links and read up on your suggestions. Thanks for the great post. There are a LOT of women who are interested in this info.
You’r welcome. To get rid of cellulite on thighs you need to target the muscles there by doing exercises slowly as taught by Joey Atlas. It works!
This has been a huge factor for me being a chef, stress has affected my eating style and seems as thought if I change, I gain if I stay put I stay the same, thanks a lot for the info, it has been a eye opener for me, appreciate the site, great work.
Hi thank you for a very informative post on the unwanted problem of cellulite. As a woman, it really is the lifelong battle. I try my hardest with diet and exercise and drink plenty of water too. Do the creams really work on their own or do they need everything else working as well? for example if you are overweight you can’t just hope the cream alone will be effective right?
Yes, you’re right. The creams aren’t enough. Actually they are not necessary if you do the Naked Beauty Exercises. The main two things that will get you rid of cellulite are the exercise and diet.
Gilbert Nunez Jr. says
I didn’t even know what Cellulite was until reading this website. All the information here is interesting and go deep into details about it. All of the images you have on this site suggests that this is something women have to deal with. Great article on this. This information will be very helpful to women looking to know more about this.
I’ve seen that even men can get cellulite. If you’re a dude with a chunky rump, should you use different products or strategies than a woman would use, or are the options gender neutral?
The information in this post is lengthy and informative, with lots of avenues and treatments described.
You’re right, men also get cellulite; I wrote about the cellulite in men too. Men usually have cellulite around the waist area and it appears usually in obese men. So, by losing weight, they can also get rid of cellulite. It can be done naturally with diet and exercise.
Hi Sandy, thank you for such an interesting post.
I use to exercise myself, but even though, I have cellulite. I think I cannot complain because I have good genetics but my stomach is my main problem!
I’m in the 40’s, and I’m not fat, but at my age it is much more difficult to eliminate cellulite, right?
I think I have to be very thin if I want to eliminate cellulite, otherwise, nothing works in the stomach!
Can you please tell me which is the technique that works better in the stomach?
Thank you so much
You’re right the older we get, the harder it is to stay slim and fit. It’s very important to exercise at least 3 times a week. You don’t have to be very thin, but you need to address the stomach muscles through the exercise and diet. I wrote the whole post about getting rid of the cellulite on the stomach.
Edna Cuffy says
Thank you, thank you! Thank you Sandy! I have been trying to get rid of cellulite for a long time but I never knew what to do. I tried walking, exercise and diet but it did not see much changes in my thighs. I have finally the solution on your site and thank you very much again, I definitely recommend this site to everyone that has cellulite because I have learn a loooooooooooooot. Thank you once again and your site is very helpful so keep up the good work!
You’re welcome Edna.
I usually confuse cellulite with other skin conditions but the pictures explained it all. It makes sense to me now for women to experience cellulite more than men since women have more body fat to muscle ratio than men.
I have this condition and always thought it was a form of stretch marks.
Is cellulite related to stretch marks in anyway and can pregnancy be one of the reason women develop it?
Stretch marks and cellulite aren’t really related. The pregnancy is more the reason for stretch marks than cellulite. I wrote more about the stretch marks and cellulite here.

Great post on cellulite, you offer a great deal of information on both the cause and cure. I have never considered cellulite and the associated problems. I will share your site with friends I know who have tried for years to solve this problem. I am sure they will be delighted to find a solution. Cheers Kev
Thanks for the nice comment Kevin.
Found this so informative! Didn’t even know what cellulite really was until your website and never realised there were different types either so thank you for even teaching me that much! Hope to utilise some of your methods to eventually be cellulite free one day!
Also, I was aware that diet and exercise has an impact but never thought of how stress could also be a factor. Something to think about, so thank you!
You’re welcome. I’m glad you have found it helpful.
Thanks for the nice comment.
I like your top banner, it fits right in with your site.
Thanks for all this helpful information, as I noticed on my own body I am not a very chubby person but after three kids I can see some cellulite building up and your site is just the place where I can learn how to get rid of it.
The information is clear and self explanatory the advise is very welcoming, Thanks again.
You’re welcome. Thanks for the nice comment.
I left you a message two months ago about that my wife starts to implate you advice and products that you advises on them and her cellulite almost gone!!!
I think she left you a message on the “contact” page.
She basically used the Cellulite creams, Dietary supplements and Dieting and exercise.
I think she did a great way from where she was thanks to you.
I hope your site will help and helped others.
Thank you so much, now I have a happier wife 🙂
That’s great news! Congratulations to your wife and thank you for the nice comment.
I have heard that among the natural ways to prevent and/or reduce cellulites is to use coffee. After you make coffee, you use the residue of the coffee to put it in the affected area on a daily basis. Personally, I have not tried it yet and my guess is that it is a long shot.
Yes, coffee scrubs are used for reducing cellulite. I wrote about them here. You won’t get rid of cellulite with coffee scrubs, but they can help reduce it.
Thanks for the comment,
Very well informative. Cellulite is something that everyone knows but very few understands. This will make understanding for cellulite, its effect, types, prevention easier. Liposuction is very effective in removing cellulite but it does not go very well with health. A bit more information on advantages and disadvantages of liposuction would certainly help aware people more about it.
Thanks for the comment. I wrote more about liposuction here.
Great job on the info. You put a lot into this site. I was happy to see the variety in approaches to cellulite management. It’s good for people to feel like they have options. I think this is a common issue for both men and women, but women are more vocal about it. Anyway, thanks and keep up the good work.
Thanks for the nice comment.
I absolutely agree with the opinion that you need to strengthen your muscles in order to remove the cellulite. I never had cellulite until an injury prevented me from running anymore. Running was something that I did very regularly to keep my body in shape. Now I have noticed cellulite beginning to show up even though I have gained no extra weight. I am looking forward to trying out some of the exercises you have recommended.
Thanks for the comment Shelby. Good luck with getting rid of cellulite!
You have a lot of valuable info here, I had no idea there were several types of cellulite. So from what i read, grade 1 cellulite can’t be normally seen, right? Then how can you know you have it? Or you can’t?
Hormonal imbalances and stress and 2 factors that I deal with, and even though I haven’t spotted any sign of cellulite, in case I do I will know what to do, thanks to your post. I will probably try either creams or diet, these are the easiest in my opinion.
The cellulite in stage 1 can be seen by pinching your skin. The pinch will reveal the dimples in the skin. When you discover that you have cellulite in stage 1, it’s good time to start fighting it. The best ways are exercise and diet, but a good cream can help too, especially in the stage 1.
You’ve put together a very informational post here! For as long as I can remember I’ve had milk cellulite on my thighs. Honestly, I just thought it was genetics! Because no matter how much I exercised or even changed my diet, nothing seemed to help or make much of a difference. I don’t smoke and am healthy by all other measures. Thanks for putting this info out there!
You’re welcome Jackie. Thanks for the comment.
I never knew there were so many causes of cellulite! I definitely didn’t know that it has been linked to wearing tight clothing.
As a woman in her 30s, I have noticed cellulite becoming a little more obvious – it doesn’t bother me on the whole but it is good to know what I can do to possibly prevent/mitigate it!
Thank you for the info – very informative 🙂
Thanks for the comment Louise 🙂
I’ve always had trouble with cellulite on my butt and thighs. I would say I am a grade 2 cellulite. I hate going to the beach wearing a bikini and everyone else there has no cellulite it’s so embarrassing. You have lots of helpful tips to get rid of them.Great article!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the comment Kayla.
I have been looking for good tips on getting rid of cellulite and I am so glad that I have found your site. The causes you have posted really helped me to gain a better view of what this condition really is and thus makes me understand it better. I probably won’t need liposuction, but I would try the creams and supplements you have recommended. Thanks for sharing this!
Certainly, the liposuction is not needed to get rid of cellulite.
Good luck and thanks for the comment!

This is definitely a great reading about cellulite and the ways to prevent or get rid of it! As a woman on my early 40’s I have noticed that my body changes! The problem is that I have some health problems last year and my metabolic rate has gone nuts! So I am looking for a solution that would be steady and slow! I think that your suggestions are all I have to do in order to achieve that! The only think I just want to ask you is this: Is it okay for me who was on chemotherapy and still in cancer treatment to use dietary supplements and collagenase injections?
I’m glad you find my website helpful. Thank you for your nice comment.
I think you should ask your doctor about the supplements and injections. Your doctor will know better what’s right for you.
Wishing you all the best!
Cellulite looks like a difficult subject; no surprise there’s all kinds of guides out there on how to fix it. I personally had no idea that stress could be one of the factors in the amount of cellulite present in the body. Which of the methods you list is your favorite? Exercising seems the most accessible, but do pills work faster? What happens if you exercise but still get cellulite? Thanks for sharing!
You need to do specific exercises that target the muscles that are responsible for cellulite. That’s why I recommend Joey Atlas exercises first. If you can’t exercise, then I recommend the Cellinea pills. If you can combine both, Joey Atlas exercises and the pills, then you’ll get rid of cellulite faster.
Thanks for the comment,
Hello how are you, this is a very interesting article.
I suffer from cellulite on my legs, practically since I was 11 years old.Right now, my situation worsened a lot, since a year ago I had my baby, and I did not take care of my diet so I gained a lot of weight.Grade 3 is what I have :(. I am currently doing exercises, but I will check your review on that program, it will surely help me.I am also taking care of my diet, and I think it would be a good idea to implement the pills as well, do you think it would be good to do all 3 at the same time?Greetings, Pao.
I’m great, thank you. I hope you’re doing great too?
If you can do all three at the same time, then you’ll achieve good results fast. All kinds of exercises are good, but if you do the exercises that specifically target the muscles responsible for cellulite, then you’ll get rid of cellulite faster.
Thank you for the comment.
I find the best way of to get cellulite out of the way is to wear long pants and just ignore it. 🙂
Joke aside, it’s something we all have and is a real pain to get rid of – it takes a lot of dieting and exercise.
Thanks also for the theory of cellulite – never knew there are more types of it.
Thank you for the joke and the comment. Most of the men don’t have cellulite. It’s mainly women’s problem. I agree that we should not become obsessed with cellulite, but it isn’t really that hard to get rid of it. Good diet and exercise is good for overall health.
Very interesting article. Though, I would’ve have loved to see some tips on how to actually love your body regardless if you have cellulitis or not. But aside from that, I think exercising it’s an amazing way, not only to help you reduse your cellulitis but to actually stay in shape and feel even more comfortable with your own skin.
This is the site for women who want to get rid of cellulite. If a woman wants to get rid of cellulite, it doesn’t mean that the woman does not love her body. Maybe she doesn’t love her cellulite only, because although natural for many women, it doesn’t look attractive? I know it’s very popular to love your cellulite nowadays (cellulite is not cellulitis), but if someone does not like how her body looks with cellulite, and wants to get rid of cellulite – what’s wrong with it? Does everyone must love cellulite now?
Thank you for the comment.
I am so delighted to find your site because my niece has been struggling to find a way to get rid of this dimpled lumpy appearance on her skin and I am sure that she will be interested in the anti-cellulite pills you described as she has been unable to get appreciable results by going through the gym/exercise route.
It is nice to learn that these pills are made with natural ingredients and has proven track record of success and are also clinically tested. I appreciate the detailed information about they work.
Thanks for the uplifting document which I will forward straight away.
Thank you for the comment. I hope it works well for your niece.
Thanks a lot for such an amazing review about How to Get Rid of Cellulite Fast and Naturally and explanations are given.
I started to lose weight and I want to get rid of cellulite. I read a lot of articles on the internet how I could do it naturally, but this is the best I’ve read. I didn’t know that coffee scrubs are beneficial. I will definitely try these tips.
Thanks again for this post. If you don’t mind, I will share this article on my social media account. Good luck!
Thank you for the comment.
I’ve come to learn that this comes when one stops working out. Oh no; I don’t work out with consistency anymore. I’m stil young an have it already; so I’ve been told. I think removing the cellulite is important because it helps the body be more firm instead of being lose.
Thank you for the comment.
During the shower, I convert male treatments that will stimulate my circulation. A good massage or exfoliation has improved my skin condition over time. I try to massage critical areas daily. I massage my exterior upwards and my thighs with strong circular motions.
I massage daily after bathing or showering, and until creams or oils. We rub the cream for at least ten minutes into the problem area. Thanks for the post about getting rid of cellulite at home.
